FAQS
Shop Minimum
Our shop minimum is $100.
Shop Hours
Downstairs is open 12-8 Monday - Sunday. *If you're looking to book with a specific artist, please reach out for their individual schedules.* Upstairs is by appointment only.
Walk-In Procedures
First come, first served. We stop taking walk-ins around 7pm.
Touch Ups
Each artist guarantees their work, so within an allotted amount of time (typically one year), touch- ups will be free. Each artist sets their own protocols so make sure to ask. We do not guarantee fingers, palms or sides of hands. These areas see the most "wear and tear" and unless you do not touch anything for an entire month, the likelihood or your tattoo healing properly is slim. We will happily tattoo those areas for you, but touch ups will not be free.
Numbing Protocol
This falls to the artist’s discretion. Please ask your artist before using numbing cream.
Hourly Rates/Session Prices
This varies from artist to artist depending on their experience and style.
Should I eat beforehand?
It's no fun getting tattooed on an empty stomach, especially if you're prone to faintness. It's always recommended to eat a good meal before you get tattooed and maybe even bring some snacks/drinks to your appointment!
What do I need to bring?
You'll always need to bring a valid form of ID. Drivers license, passport or state issues identification. Photos of your ID will NOT be accepted. Bring a hoodie and some snacks if you’re coming for a longer session.
Parking
There is street parking available where you can find it. Buttonwood Street is free, while other nearby streets maybe metered or timed. We do have a parking lot right next to the shop that is “Pay by QR code” accessible. If you plan on parking in the lot, please reach out to the studio prior to arrival as we have coupon codes for 50% off parking!
Monetary Tips
Not necessary but ALWAYS appreciated!
Swimming/Soaking
You always want to keep your fresh tattoo out of water. Showers are fine, but do not submerge your tattoo for up to two weeks.
Will you send the design prior to appointment?
Not unless previously discussed with your artist.

Peel off the white backing of the second skin and place on tattoo leaving about an inch border around the tattoo. Peel off top layer starting at the blue layer of the second skin.
